Angels are all around us
As far as the heart can see.
I know this to be true
'Cause one has come to me.
She came last night and
At first I thought she was a dream,
Standing in a ray of light.
So beautiful and serene.
She told me not to worry
About things not in my control
That Jesus had His reasons
When He died to save my soul.
She assured me life would happen
Just the way He planned it out.
All I had to do was trust Him
And it would all come about.
Now my spirit has been lifted
My heart's not heavy anymore.
The angel helped me throw away
All the guilt and despair I held before.
She told me we all have angels
Around us each and every day.
Some are spirits from above... and some
Are friends that Jesus sent our way.
The angel said as she disappeared beyond the stars
"Let your heart see what is invisible to the eyes,
Nothing in this life is coincidence...
And a friend could be an angel in disguise."
