Behold.. The beauty all around,
Here.. in my special place.
I'm alone in this universe
Sending my thoughts through space.

Where do they go?
To the heavens and beyond?
Does anyone hear them
Or are they forever gone?

My thoughts.. not very profound.
Not very meaningful to anyone but me.
Do they get lost in the sea
And drift away with what used to be?

As I wander through this special place
I pause at the edge of the sea
Taking in the beauty of the horizon
And I'm filled with thoughts of you and me.

Thoughts of where we once were.
Thoughts of what might yet come to be.
Thoughts.. going out to somewhere.
All these thoughts drifting aimlessly.

I long to stay here in this peacefulness.
In the clouds I see your face.
Alone.. all alone with my thoughts.
