Choices
Once again I've made a choice
Once again I took a stand.
This time i was not alone
You gave a helping hand.
You said to leave and so I packed
It didn't take me long this time.
You were such a gentleman to help
And said your love would still be mine.
We've been down this road before
In fact more than once or twice.
Every time I traveled there
I thought our love would suffice.
But I carried too much baggage
I couldn't leave it all behind
This time you even told me
Our love was not the lasting kind.
My Darling, please forgive me,
it's not that I don't love you
For you will always be the only one.
And my heart will always remain true.
You say that you still love me
But it's time to now move on
I hope you know that I don't blame you
It's all my fault your love is gone.
I'm so sorry that I left you

I don't know why this happens
But when I'm there I feel I should be here
And now I regret my choice once more
