Memories

In the quiet of the night
My thoughts drift back to you.
As I look out at the shadows
I can almost see you too

I hear a sweet melody
In the distance of the night.
The moon is shining brightly
And the blue sea glistens in it's light.

Ever so softly the snow falls
Like diamonds from the sky
Blurring in the moonlight
Or is that a tear in my eye?

In the silence of the night
I call your name and you appear.
I close my eyes and feel your touch
My love... in my heart you're here.

It was December when we met face to face
I couldn't wait to see you that cold and icy day
And when you kissed me in the snow
I gave my heart away.

We will always be together in my memory
You will always be my love even tho you're gone.
So as I gaze at the gently falling snow
My thoughts drift back to you and
... my love lives on.
