Oh Lord, I love to ponder
About the promises of Spring.
I think about the hope and joy
And the beauty that it brings.
My heart overflows with happiness
Knowing the earth will be revived,
And everything that is barren
Will soon come alive.
I anticipate the green of Spring
That will brighten Mother Earth.
I picture all of the colorful flowers
That will burst forth with birth.
Oh Lord, how good You are to me...
You have thought of everything;
Even Your death and resurrection
Are symbolized through the Spring.
Let all of the joy into my heart,
Fill it with faith anew
