Beneath The Shadow Of A Purple Moon

Beneath the shadow of a purple moon.
I hear a haunting melody;
Deeper, sweeter, calmer,
Filling my senses with an ecstasy.

This time it’s different,
Nothing feels the same.
From a distance I hear
Your voice calling my name.

Here…. In the stillness
I close my eyes.
Feeling you near,
I begin to fantasize.

While the night envelopes me
And the dark is all I see,
Each beat of my heart
Brings you closer to me.

Beneath the purple moon
As passion’s fire surrounds me
The dream becomes reality…and
Once more love has found me.
