If I Can Make It Until Tomorrow
As I walk this cold dark street
With the wind cuttin' a chill
Right through my clothes
Haven't had a hot meal to eat
Or a warm place to sleep
For such a long long time.
I pulled my hat down on my face
People pass me by going on their way.
Tomorrow's such a long long time
Got to find my way again.
If I can make it 'til tomorrow
I think I'll be ok by then.
I gotta make it
Turn my collar to the wind
Looking for a place
I can rest for the night.
Climb in the back of an old junk truck
Pull a piece of cardboard up over my head.
Trying to get to tomorrow
Knowing that this night may never end.
Tomorrow's such a long long time
Got to find my way back in.
If I can make it 'til tomorrow
I know I'll be ok by then.
I just gotta make it.
As I walk this cold dark street
With the wind cutting a chill
Right through my clothes
Haven't had a hot meal to eat
Or a warm place to sleep
For such a long long time.
I pulled my hat down on my face
People pass me by going on their way.
Tomorrow's such a long long time
Got to find my way again.
If I can make it 'til tomorrow
I know I'll be much better then.
Tomorrow's such a long long time
Got to find my way again.
If I can make it 'til tomorrow
I know I'll be much better then.
I think I can make it
